Back in Time
Our first history based topic and we certainly are going back in time! 5,000 years ago in fact! We are going to look in particular at The Indus Valley and Ancient Egypt!

Frozen Planet
In Topic, we have started to look at Evolution! We are going to continue this for a while longer so we can really underpin exactly what it is! Click here to watch some videos about how animals have adapted to the environments they live in!
During our topic time we've had a close look at the world map and tried to locate different countries and the 7 continents. How many countries can you find on the map?
We then started to look at 6 figure grid references which help us to get a more accurate location on a map! This image helps us to understand how we use them!
Our topic this half term is Frozen Planet! We are going use our science, geography, ICT and art skills during this topic! We are also going to link it in with our English lessons! We are going to look closely at Antarctica , the Arctic and the wildlife that lives there!
